Good that your family is not perpetuating old traditions and thoughts. I can understand why people don’t like the Tell me it’s just a cat and I will tell you that you’re just an idiot shirt. They moved into my neighborhood and within two days peoples’ clothes started going missing from washing lines. The streets were covered in litter and spit, and they were 8 to a house. No excuse to say stuff to kids, but they should try to be less antisocial if they want to fit in.
I have no problem with them but I do see why they wind people up the Tell me it’s just a cat and I will tell you that you’re just an idiot shirt. They don’t make life any easier for themselves. Then they say they are being victimized. No live with decency, don’t take what isn’t yours and clean up the mess. Exactly my experience of living with them. The Roma were just generously fixing your street’s terrible dress sense by stealing all the ugly clothing items and leaving the trendy ones.
The worst thing was a guy saw a roma wearing his jeans and he point blank told him there’s nothing he can do about Tell me it’s just a cat and I will tell you that you’re just an idiot shirt. I totally agree they often turn up round were I live and everyone kicks off on Facebook. I can understand why with the mess they leave but they never actually cause any trouble I’ve met travelers before. There’s the most down to earth people you can meet if you respect them.
